I’m a Better Co-Parent Because of Family Court Services

I was referred to Family Court Services for co-parenting services. My co-parent and I did not have a healthy communication pattern which negatively impacted my child’s academic performance. I was frustrated when I received my referral for co-parenting because I thought I knew how to co-parent and my daughter’s father was the issue. However, I met with my specialist (which by way was the ONLY free service I was receiving from the court) and quickly began to realize that I was not communicating effectively about the child. My life has forever been changed for the better thanks to Family Court Services and I can happily say that I have reconciled my relationship with my daughter’s father and we are working on building a future together. I could not have done this without interventions from FCS!
